The Greenlight Project Interviews Patrice Yursik of Afrobella

The Greenlight Project  is TWS’ weekly hour show on Blog Talk Radio to engage, enlighten and inform the public, from a diverse perspective, what’s going on in front and behind the scene with respect to culture on the big screen, small screen, computer screen and everything in between. This week the focus will be on Radio, Print, and New Media.

This week’s special guest will be Patrice Elizabeth Grell Yursik

 Born in Trinidad, currently residing in Chicago, IL, Patrice Elizabeth Grell Yursik is the creator and founder of Afrobella, a blog dedicated to beauty, style, hair, and culture for all shades. Created in 2006, Afrobella has won several online awards and featured on the sites of Essence, Jet , WowOWow and Newsweek. It has also been publicized in Glamour, Essence and Sister2Sister magazines, while being named one of’s 99 Most Influential Style Blogs.

In addition to Afrobella, Patrice is the hair blogger for AOL Black Voices and a contributor to Vogue Italia’s new website, Vogue Black. Currently in the works by Patrice, a book dedicated to celebrating women “all shades of beautiful”.
